Today, MaCNN is reporting a patent filing by Apple for a 3D projection system. I had been wondering which direction Apple would take next since the ipods are going well, the appleTV doesn't look like it is taking off like gangbusters, and the movie rentals seem to be more talk than action. But this, this could really the next big thing. I have often thought that there is a need in the market for a really good TV/Monitor/Cable system, but this has the potential for something really incredible. And, knowing apple, it will be intuitive and stylish too. I can't wait to see this come to life!
