The difference is in the details...

I came across this Leica campaign and found it to be very symbolic of what we need to take time to do, especially this busy time of year. Slow down and stop to enjoy the details of the season.

The simple ad, takes another view of something that we have passed perhaps hundreds of times, but never stopped to take a close look that the beauty, even the smallest of things holds.

We spend hours decorating our home for the holidays, baking, shopping for just the right gift. While we have put so much time and energy in these endeavors, have we really just take a moment to stop and smell the roses, or the sweet goodies of Christmas.

This week, I challenge you find 15 minutes. It can be up early, or late, or just a few minutes during the day to sit down and really appreciate the beauty that can be found in the tiny details around us. The beauty of how the light sparkles off of the snow, or off the sugar on a cookie.

What good is all the effort we put into the holidays, if you can't stop for even a few moments, is it all really worth it? This year, take time to stop and smell the roses.....sugar cookies!
