I came across this website and found it quite interesting. Aside form marginal video and even worse audio, there is a great theme here, talking to designers about what inspires them, why they got into the busines and what their most important tools are. Check out the videos and ask others in the industry these questions, do you know what your answers would be?

Have you even been compelled to create your own font? Here is a nifty little website that aids you in that venture. While you don't have the absolute control you might if you created it traditionally, but honestly who has really gone through all THAT work. Here is an easier more simplified method. Now you ask, how well do these fonts work in the real world, verdict is still out on that. But check out the site and the methods, also check out kawaii, a funky little image font with some simplistic faces.
Monday, April 7, 2008 at 01:49PM Here is a band who is using print flip books to add interest to their video. Low tech, special effects, but creates an interesting visual. The same idea could easily be applied to a commercial and coordinated with an actual flip book product promotion. If I recall correctly, a while back Target did a nice little flip book where the dog did a little flip. Fun for the whole family.
